Todd Moore is an award winning jeweller with a colourful past that leads him to be enjoying his life in Denmark, Western Australia.

Born in New York, he attended schools in Pennsylvania, Brazil, and Michigan before graduating from Denver University with a Bachelor of Arts and a major in Fine Art. Todd taught Art to high-school students in Denver for two years before moving to Aspen, Colorado to pursue his skiing.

He taught many an enthusiast to 'extreme ski' on Aspen mountain, as this is one of his passions. It was in this boutique town that he met a young Australian woman, Yvette that he is now proud to call his wife.
Together they moved to Western Australia for the birth of their first child, Ulysses. This was Todd's first experience of the 'Land Down-under', which truly paved the way for his love of the hardwoods.

It was whilst camping on one of Western Australia's amazing beaches that Todd had a dream, or vision some might say, that told him to go to Montana. Following his dream, this is where they went. The rural university town of Bozeman, Montana USA became home for three years. It was here that he learned the art of jewellery making as an apprentice for a local jeweller who saw his artistic ability in some carvings of wax. Under a strict regimen of work and exploration in a shop dedicated to wax carving and casting, Todd assimilated his experience in the arts with fine jewellery. It was whilst working in Bozeman that he gained first and second place in jewellery design competitions held by the Jewellers Association of America for Montana and Wyoming. A career was born, along with Tarquinn, their second child.

Because of a desire to push the limits, to explore possibilities, and experiment in unconventional processes, Todd has expanded the thinking within fine jewellery and design. Todd feels that jewellery pieces are as unique as the people who wear them, thus each piece is created individually, and not moulded, reproduced and mass-manufactured.

It is not just about the jewellery for Todd, as he enjoys showing people his workplace, educating them about his work, and showing them the many ways in which art can enhance their lives. In many respects it is about people. As an artist, designer, innovator, educator, husband and father, Todd loves to share his experiences and expressions.
